The space is furnished with local woods and traditional textiles; the air is filled with the scent of flowers and herbs growing outside. Treatments range from the traditional massage options, comprised of a full body massage using aromatherapy oil and combining the acupressure and stretching techniques of Balinese style, and will provide a sense of serenity and wellbeing and improve blood circulation. When you first enter Amoaras Spa, the friendly staff will offer you three choices of massage oil. Romantic massage Oil (Jasmine Lavender), Energizing Massage Oil (Rosemary and Peppermint) and Relaxing Massage Oil (Sandalwood and Lemon Citrus). Treatments are given in a pretty room in small stucco house with two massage tables. Traditional massages include foot reflexology, stretching, and integral body therapy using all natural fragrances, oils, creams, and exfoliates derived from botanical extracts.
Henry Frei, the Swiss-born owner is running the place since 30th July 2002. He is fierily committed to offering the best treatments and services in Bali that’s is reflected in the weekly training sessions for the already excellent therapists. It is obvious that the quality of the services given has been one of the main reasons why Amoaras still exist.
